Our job is to support PE firms to enhance and optimize how their operations function.CFO Services Provides the following pillar of servicesStrategic Analytics & PlanningPerformance Measurement & Management (Funds & Management Company)Business TransformationInvestor ReportingValuationTreasury FunctionsOperational Review and Improvement (e.g., HR, Administration, Technology, Insurance)PROFESSIONAL EXPECTATIONS:Data Collection, Validation and AnalysisDevelop information requests based on the specific project scopeLead client interviews and ask the right questions in order to gather meaningful dataIdentify information gaps through trend analysis, pattern recognitionInvestigate beyond the first logical answer and challenge preconceived beliefs with fact-based analyticsDeep dive into all relevant data, improve management reporting, and develop reliable and transparent forecastingDevelop storyline messages using supporting facts and analyses, ensure data and branding standards flow accurately and consistently throughout the presentationProject Management and ImplementationAbility to own and complete a workstream based on the pillars of service Fund Management Solutions providesReview and provide inputs to all work products, and ensure that all client deliverables are presented logically and accuratelySet reasonable timelines/expectations and align such with clientDevelop financial models (e.g., three statement forecast, liquidity forecasting) and client presentations independently and accuratelyDevelop bespoke solutions with creative approaches as circumstances warrantTeamworkPromote a team environment where diverse ideas and opinions are encouragedShare knowledge and experience, provide coaching to teammatesFinancial AcumenAbility to build and review various financial models, provide valuable financial analysis and evaluate accounting treatmentsAbility to provide valuable insight and improvement initiatives to senior management and board membersAccreditation/Experience:3-7 years of experience related to: Accounting / Finance, Financial Due Diligence, Investment Banking or Private Equity with experience at a fund/asset manager or equivalent business strongly preferredGraduate of accredited 4-year college / university with educational concentration in relevant areas (accounting, finance, economics) preferred but not requiredExperience in building integrated financial models including strong Excel/PowerPoint skillsThe salary range is $90,000 - $130,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.Regular employees working 30 or more hours per week are also entitled to participate in Alvarez & Marsal Holdings’ fringe benefits consisting of healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life, AD&D, and disability coverages at rates determined from time to time as well as a 401(k) retirement plan. Provided the eligibility requirements are met, employees will also receive a discretionary contribution to their 401(k) from Alvarez & Marsal. Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave.
