Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and technically sound Technical Product Owner (TPO) with hands-on experience in Java, API development, DevOps practices, and database management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical execution, driving product development through Agile methodologies, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features and solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the product backlog and prioritize features/stories aligned with business goals and technical feasibility.
Work closely with engineering teams to deliver technical solutions using Java, RESTful APIs, and modern backend frameworks.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth CI/CD pipelines, deployment, and monitoring.
Create and manage user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria using JIRA.
Drive Sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives; track progress and resolve blockers.
Define and communicate product vision, roadmap, and requirements to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Understand and manage technical dependencies, risks, and impacts across systems.
Perform basic database queries and validations to support product functionality and debugging.
Required Skills & Experience:
10+ years of experience in a Product Owner or Technical Product Manager role.
Strong background in Java, backend/API development, and cloud-native architectures.
Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs, API testing, and documentation tools like Swagger/Postman.
Familiarity with DevOps practices including CI/CD, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and monitoring tools.
Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams, with strong knowledge of JIRA and Sprint lifecycle management.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Certification in CSPO, SAFe PO/PM, or other Agile methodologies.
Experience in performance monitoring and logging (e.g., ELK stack, Grafana, Prometheus).
