Job Description

The Archdiocese of St. Louis strives to teach and share our faith, serve others, and foster unity throughout the St. Louis area. Once a part of Kenrick-Glennon Seminary's campus, the Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury, MO is today the headquarters and curia (governing body) for the Archdiocese of St. Louis.

Job Summary

Cardinal Ritter College Prep, a St. Louis Archdiocesan coeducational college preparatory high school for grades 9-12, seeks a Theology teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Applicants must be Catholic, demonstrate the ability to teach in an urban, college preparatory environment, and possess a strong academic background.

Job Responsibilities

Articulate and act per the policies, procedures, mission, and vision of the St. Louis Archdiocese and Cardinal Ritter College Preparatory High School. Properly plan and deliver quality instruction utilizing the Gradual Release Model and formulating assessments to facilitate higher-order thinking. Integrate instructional technology in the classroom and implement project-based learning activities. Manage and maintain a classroom atmosphere that is conducive to learning. Use an online student data system and Google applications.

In addition, candidates must demonstrate commitment to the vocation of teaching and an ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
