Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Engineer I: Designer to join our structural engineering team in Fort Collins, CO. This entry-level role is perfect for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to grow in a supportive, technically challenging environment. You'll perform a variety of design and technical support tasks under close supervision while learning the fundamentals of structural engineering in a real-world setting.

This is a hybrid position, offering the flexibility to work remotely part of the time while maintaining a strong connection with our collaborative, in-office team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct structural analysis and design for portions of projects
• Assist with engineering calculations, design documentation, and reports
• Perform data collection and code research
• Utilize CAD and engineering software tools for drafting and modeling
• Participate in field investigations and site visits
• Learn applicable building codes, standards, and design practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Passed or planning to take the Fundamentals of Engineering (F.E.) exam
• Familiarity with CAD and structural analysis software (preferred)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
