WE ARE HIRING IMMEDIATELY AT OUR NANUET NY, LOCATION We are looking for happy energetic stylists to join our fun team. Sharkey's Cuts for Kids is a salon for kids ages 0-14. We're on a mission to WOW our clients from the minute they arrive. Smiles and a positive attitude are a must, and we treat all our team members like family!

Hair Stylist Responsibilities:

• Ensure all treatments meet high-quality standards.
• Provide full salon services, including hair cutting, shampooing, blow drying, and styling
• Provide exceptional client experience.
• Keep on top of current hair-cutting and styling trends.
• Listen and communicate clearly with clients to deliver the highest level of service.
• Educate clients on retail products that are best suited to their needs.
• Ability to work with kids.
• Maintain cleanliness of the salon.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced atmosphere.

Requirements:

• Must have an active Cosmetology license in New York State
• Enjoy and love working with kids and families
• Must have a natural smile and upbeat attitude with a commitment to providing an unforgettable fun and exciting haircut experience for each of our customers (children and parents)
• Ability to listen to and communicate with clients to ensure their complete satisfaction.

Compensation: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
