Job Description Job Description RMS Asset Management LLC, a specialized asset manager for portfolios of mortgage loans and REOs, is looking for an entry-level accountant to join its Accounting and Reporting team. The entry-level accountant will be working closely with the accounting manager and report to the controller. This position will be based in our office in West Los Angeles, CA. Job Description:

• Perform daily bank reconciliations
• Post journal entries and prepare monthly/annual financial statements for multiple entities
• Process payable and reconcile GL accounts
• Import monthly remittance reports to the company’s asset management system and ensure accuracy of all loadings
• Assist with portfolio reconciliations and reporting
• Assist with tax return and other filings
• Assist with ad-hoc and other administrative/accounting related tasks

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Proficient in MS Excel, Outlook and Word
• Accounting internship experience preferred
• Detailed-oriented and organized
• Excellent communication skills and ability to complete tasks in a timely manner
