Job Description

Position Overview:
As an Emergency Medicine Physician, you will be responsible for providing immediate, expert medical care in emergency situations. You will assess, stabilize, treat, and manage patients with a wide range of urgent and critical health conditions. Our facility serves a diverse patient population, and we are looking for a physician who can excel in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide emergency medical care to patients with acute illnesses and injuries.
  2. Perform thorough evaluations and diagnostics to determine the severity of medical conditions.
  3. Stabilize patients and manage critical situations efficiently.
  4. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work and imaging.
  5. Administer treatments, medications, and procedures as necessary.
  6. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, specialists, and other physicians.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
  8. Provide leadership and guidance to medical staff and residents.
  9. Participate in ongoing education and professional development.
  10. Follow hospital protocols and emergency care best practices.

Qualifications:

  1. Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  2. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine.
  3. Active and unrestricted medical license in [State].
  4. Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification (or ability to obtain).
  5. Strong clinical knowledge and skills in emergency medicine.
