Job Description

Wenger Mfg LLC is seeking a reliable and skilled Electrician I to join our team. This is an entry-level position for individuals with a foundational knowledge of electrical systems and a desire to build a career in the electrical trade. Under supervision, the Electrician I will assist with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical control systems in accordance with local and national codes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with installation of electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on electrical systems

• Follow blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to complete tasks

• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and electrical codes

• Work effectively with supervisors and other tradespeople on job sites

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED

• Completion of an electrical trade program or equivalent work experience preferred

• 0–2 years of experience in electrical work

• Basic knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code)

• Ability to use hand and power tools safely

• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally

Preferred Qualifications:

• OSHA 10 or 30 certification

• Previous experience in commercial or residential electrical work
